Mapping

If your business premises have an existing fibre optic infrastructure that is not used or you are moving into new premises with an existing fibre optic infrastructure we can map the cable layout to help you position equipment, identify the type of cable used and calculate its capacity.  Through the use of an Optical Time Domain Refectometer (OTDR) and Optical Power Meter (OPM) we will determine the length of each fibre optic cable, the amount of signal loss and any faults that exist.  Once the network is quantified we can advise on any repairs, upgrades and how to optimise its performance.
